Zane’s Rescue Story: From Wild Child to Chief Operating Wooficer
Here at Buff Cake Barkery, we know firsthand the joys (and challenges) of puppyhood. We met Zane on January 1, 2018, and it was love at first sight! At the time, he was a wild child—under a year old and coming from a less-than-ideal situation. We participated in a foster-to-adopt program since we hadn’t had a dog in a long time, and Zane came with his own set of special circumstances.
One of the biggest challenges? His sensitive stomach. For years, we struggled to find the right diet for him, trying to manage the digestive issues that followed him from puppyhood. It wasn’t until we fully figured out what he did (and didn’t) need in his diet—along with a solid supplement routine—that we finally turned Zane into the healthy, happy pup he is today! His journey inspired a big part of Buff Cake Barkery’s mission: making nutritious, delicious treats that dogs love and that support their well-being.

Training Tips: Every Dog Learns Differently
